The Elves and the Shoemaker

Today, I read "The Elves and the Shoemaker" a book in the Folk & Fairy Tale Easy Readers series.
Once upon a time, a kind shoemaker and his wife was so poor. And they can't new leather to make shoes. The shoemaker put the last leather on his table, and he slept. Next morning, There were a fancy pair of shoes on the table! He sold it, and he could get gold.The same thing happened the next day, nor the next, nor the next. Then he became very rich. Actually, the magic was done by the elves. So, the couple gave them presents.
